Augustine Jerry Arakkal Joseph is an experienced Associate Software Engineer and an Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate with a strong background in the information technology and services industry. With a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam, Augustine has built a solid foundation in SQL, PL/SQL, BPMN, and Jasper reports. He is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Cloud Computing for Big Data from Lambton College, Toronto, to further develop his skills in cloud computing and big data. Augustine is currently working as a Programmer Analyst/Database Developer at CI Financial, where he is responsible for creating reports from Sybase DB using Perl and Ksh, troubleshooting issues in various programs such as Java, C, Perl, Ksh, SQR, DB objects, and Groovy in production, generating ad-hoc reports based on business analysts' requirements, handling the backend program for the digital transformation project, creating scripts for data fixes in production, and providing on-call overnight support by monitoring issues in the overnight cycle once a week every two months. Prior to joining CI Financial, Augustine worked as a Web Developer at Snyder Construction, where he implemented new features in the admin website and developed a dashboard to be used for meetings. He also worked as a Customer Value Associate at Walmart Canada. With a strong tech stack that includes SQL, web development, backend development, big data, Java, and C, Augustine has 2.76 years of relevant experience in the field. He is a skilled professional who is passionate about developing innovative solutions to complex problems and is always eager to learn and grow in his career.
